1. About this app

A personal note-taking utility.

This policy explains how information may be handled when you use the app.

2. Information we ask you to provide

The core app is designed to work without requiring an IgnitedRoots or GyanPointApps account. Unless a particular feature clearly asks for it, we do not require your name, email address, phone number, home address, precise location, contacts, or payment-card details to use the core app.

3. Information stored on your device

The app may store Notes, note titles, colors, timestamps, preferences, and content saved by the user. locally on your device.

Local app data is generally used to provide app functionality, remember preferences, and preserve progress between sessions. Removing the app or clearing its storage may delete some or all of this local information.

4. Notes and user-created content

Notes you create are intended to remain under your control. The app may store note content locally on your device.

If you choose to use Android sharing, backup, export, or another external service, the destination service may process the content you choose to send to it under that service's own terms. GyanPointApps does not claim ownership of the notes you create.

5. Diagnostics and technical information

Android, Google Play services, crash-reporting components, or other libraries included in a particular release may process limited technical information such as app version, device type, operating-system version, crash information, performance information, or similar diagnostics.

Any such collection should be accurately reflected in the Google Play Data Safety disclosure for the released version.

6. Advertising

The current policy is written for an ad-free release. If advertising is added in a future version, this policy, the Google Play ads declaration, and the Data Safety disclosure must be updated before that version is published.

7. Children and target audience

This app is designed for a general audience. It does not require users to create a personal profile for ordinary use. The target-audience declaration on Google Play should match the actual design, content, and store listing of each released version.

8. Permissions

The app should request only permissions reasonably required for its features. Permission availability may vary by Android version and app release.

Where Android provides a permission choice, you can control those permissions through your device settings. Features that depend on a denied permission may not function until that permission is granted.

9. Data sharing

GyanPointApps does not sell personal information.

Information may be processed by service providers actually included in the released application, such as Google Play services, advertising, security, or diagnostics providers. Their processing is governed by their own privacy terms and the configuration used in the app.

Information may also be disclosed when required by law or where reasonably necessary to protect users, the public, or our legal rights.

10. Retention and deletion

Local app data generally remains on your device until you delete it, clear the app's storage, reset the relevant feature, or the app replaces it during normal operation.

Information processed by third-party services, if any, is retained according to those providers' applicable policies and configurations.

If a future version introduces an account system or server-side storage, this policy will be updated with appropriate retention and deletion information before that version is published.

11. Security

We use reasonable measures appropriate to the app's design to reduce unnecessary collection and exposure of information. However, no electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

12. External links and services

If the app links to a website, store page, or third-party service, that destination may have its own privacy practices. This policy does not replace the privacy policy of a third-party service.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app's features, SDKs, data practices, legal requirements, or Google Play declarations change. The date shown near the top of this page identifies the latest posted version.
